Building Momentum in a City on the Rise

Omaha is in the middle of a transformation, one that is visible in steel, glass, and skyline.

And behind that transformation are the teams doing the work that most people never see.

For RTG Building Services, that work is happening at scale, and in some of the most significant developments in the region. Here’s a closer look at the projects underway, and why they matter.

Inside One of the Midwest’s Most Defining Projects

RTG Building Services is currently supporting construction operations inside the Mutual of Omaha Tower, a 44-story, 677-foot development rising in the heart of downtown Omaha.

Once complete, the tower will become the tallest building in Nebraska and across a multi-state region, redefining the city’s skyline and anchoring a new era of downtown growth. Spanning approximately 800,000 square feet of office and amenity space, the project is designed as a next-generation workplace, complete with a multi-level sky lobby, conference spaces, and community-facing features.

Construction began in 2023 and remains on track for completion in 2026, with the structure now nearing its full height and interior buildout underway. Within that environment, RTG Building Services has been on-site for nearly two months, managing ongoing rough cleaning to keep construction moving. Final cleaning has now begun on select floors.

With a team of approximately 14 workers onsite, the scope is steady, coordinated, and highly visible. This contract was secured through a competitive bid process, placing RTG Building Services among the top firms selected to support one of the most high-profile developments in the Midwest.

“This project is a defining moment for us. It reinforces that RTG can operate at scale, and that’s something we’ll carry forward for years to come. When potential partners see the size and complexity of this work, it speaks for itself.” — Ramiro Gaitan, President, RTG Building Services

And that’s exactly what this project represents: A proof point.

Momentum Beyond the Skyline

The tower is not a one-off.

RTG Building Services has recently secured a new data center project, comparable in scale, though horizontal in structure. While details remain limited, projects of this size typically support critical infrastructure and long-term regional growth.

In Northwest Omaha, RTG is also preparing to begin work with the Metropolitan Utilities District, a public utility provider serving

region’s essential water and natural gas systems.

Work is set to begin at the end of March.

Each of these projects sits within a broader pattern: Growth that is being built through performance, not promotion.

“This opportunity opened the door to what’s next. Through this work, our partners saw what we’re capable of, and that led directly to another project of equal scale with a new data center.” — Ramiro Gaitan, President, RTG Building Services

Growth That Reflects Demand

Over the past two months, RTG Building Services’ workforce has expanded from approximately 90 to more than 100 employees.

That increase is not incidental. It is directly tied to: larger contract awards, expanded scopes of work, and continued demand from general contractors and partners.

In a market where timelines are tight and expectations are high, capacity matters.

And RTG is scaling to meet it. If interested in joining our team, click here.

As construction season accelerates across the region, RTG Building Services remains positioned within the flow of major commercial work, supporting developers, general contractors, and infrastructure partners across Omaha and beyond.

Additional projects are already in motion, with more to be shared in the months ahead. For now, the focus remains unchanged: Show up. Do the work. Let the results speak.
